|Eighth Love-sharing Book Donation Event (July 2)|
In Korea, around 1,500 children are diagnosed with cancer and leukemia every year. At this very moment, approximately 30,000–40,000 children are battling hard with a disease at children cancer wards. With a hope that our books can be of small help for these pediatric patients, SaraminHR employees held a “love-sharing book donation campaign.”
During the book donation campaign period, SaraminHR employees come to work with an armful of books that include not only picture books and storybooks for child patients but also essays and novels for the patients’ families. More than 1,300 books were collected with the employees’ heartwarming wishes.
The books were handed over to the Korea Pediatric Cancer Foundation during a donation ceremony held at Saramin headquarters on July 2. The donated books will be sent to pediatric cancer wards, rest areas, and small libraries for child patients nationwide.
